The Ghana Education Service (GES) has released the Senior High School (SHS) placements for candidates who sat for the 2025 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).
In a circular to all Regional Directors of Education dated Thursday, September 18, the Service confirmed the official release of the Computerised School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS) results.
According to GES, all placed students are expected to report to their various schools on Saturday, October 18, 2025.
The Service cautioned heads of schools against admitting students outside the official placement list without clearance from the GES.
“Admission of students should strictly follow the placement list generated by the CSSPS Secretariat. No school is permitted to admit students outside the official placement without prior written approval from GES,” the statement said.
GES further directed school authorities to ensure a smooth registration process in line with the guidelines provided. It warned that any breaches, including unauthorised admissions, would attract administrative sanctions.
Meanwhile, candidates can check their placement by visiting the CSSPS portal at www.cssps.gov.gh. After logging in, students are required to click on the ‘Check Placement’ option and sign in with their Index Number and Date of Birth to access their schools.
